Massive Dust Storm hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region


Massive Dust Storm hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region; at least 8 dead:
More than 8 people‚ including 3 youngsters and a woman‚ died and over 40 people injured in powerful dust storm (Maximum wind speed around 120 - 130  km/h or 75 - 81 mph) with light to heavy falls due to "western disturbance" hit different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, Upper Punjab including Islamabad on 2-6-2013 Sunday evening. Dust storm damaged the standing crops‚ evacuated trees‚ destroyed houses and created force blackouts. 

According to PWF Reporter from Peshawar, The dust storm was so powerful, Large number of people were injured and killed when the roofs and walls of small building, shops and houses collapsed. The harmed including nine people who were injured seriously in massive dust-storm were moved to clinics or in Govt. hospitals for medicine by the rescue crews.
