History in Review: 10th September and Karachi

History in Review: 10th September 1997:
An amazing afternoon thunderstorm around 3 pm, initially a strong dust storm then heavy rain lashed the city, around 30-40 mm rain fell in different parts of city, a memorable rain for me.

History in Review: 10th September 2005:
Great rain in the morning (after a brief wind/dust storm) esp during 9 to 11 am keep most of people stranded at homes who had to go for their jobs & offices. About 20 to 30 mm rain and only 29 C max temperature was recorded on that day, one the day that I really enjoyed..

History in Review: 10th September 2010:
Around 5 pm most of city received good rain with strong winds and thunder, especially SE parts received very heavy rain, reports of above 60 mm rain in Landhi where rest of city got 2 to 15 mm of rain, only 2 mm at Nazimabad.

History in Review: 10th September 2011:
Strong thunderstorm (with some very strong thunder) hit around 3 pm especially south parts of Karachi received very heavy as some reports say even 80 mm in Saddar, about 28 mm in Nazimabad, another day among those I really enjoyed.

History in Review: 10th September 2012:
Although Karachi was mostly cloudy but that day will be remembered for that extremely heavy rain spell that continued in most of upper Sindh and south Punjab whole day & night.
