Tropical Depression in Arabian Sea during September 2005:

During mid September, 2005 A strong depression formed in central Arabian Sea. It remained almost stationary there from 13 to 16 September that caused very hot weather for over 5-6 days in Karachi and other parts of lower Sindh with dry & hot breeze from N/NE blow those days keeping max temperature around 37-39˚C. Later that system weakened and moved into Gujarat, India. Some rain also reported in parts of Thar during 17-18 September.
