Pakistan Spring Rainfall Outlook & Updates

Country wide spring Rainfall in Pakistan (March 22 to 26): Fresh new and  countrywide spring Rainfall system is expected to reach on tonight (22-3-2014) to Balochistan. This Rainfall system would intensify from late Sunday (23-3-2014) and cause moderate to heavy falls at isolated places of Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pubjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir till Wednesday night (26-3-2014).

Forecast  for Balochistan: This new rainy system would affect Turbat, Khuzdar, and their adjoining southern & northern parts, these parts would get 80-100 mm of heavy showers, while moderate to heavy rainfall would also expected to continue in Quetta till Tuesday.


Forecast  for  Sindh: This spell will also spread  to Sindh with low intensity, partly cloudy weather condition is expected with chances of first spring light to moderate showers in upper and central parts of Sindh including Hyderabad, Dadu, Nawabshah, Larkana and Moro during this spell.


NOTE: Slight chances for showers is also present for Karachi with mostly cloudy condition.


Forecast  for Punjab: From late Sunday to Tuesday, mostly cloudy with Isolated rainfall expected in major parts of Punjab including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Gujranwala, while light rain may also occur at isolated place of Lower Punjab on Tuesday.


Forecast  for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Rain shower expected in major parts of KPK from tonight including Peshawar, Nohshera, Mardan and other parts of KPK till  Tuesday.


Forecast  for Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir: Moderate to heavy Rain/Snowfall expected in major parts of Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir from Sunday to Thursday.
