KARACHI THE CITY OF LIGHTS
Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan which situated in southeastern part of the country. Karachi city has an important industrial area and port ( Port Qasim ) on the coast of Arabian Sea. About 3,527 km² areas, it can covers and mostly comprises flat or rolling plains with hills on the western and northern boundaries of the urban sprawl. The River Malir and River Lyari are the two rivers flow through the city. The Karachi Harbor is situated on the south-west part of the city.

Karachi has a relatively mild climate because it located on the coast area. It has two main seasons like the summer season & the winter season, while spring and autumn are very short time expand in Karachi. The summer season of Karachi is persists for longest period during the whole year, and the level of precipitation is low for most of the parts of the year. Due to the inversion layer, Karachi receives less precipitation in summer season.

The level of humidity is usually remains high in the month of March to the month of November and very low in winter. Wind direction in winter season is North Easterly. As the city is located on the seaside of Arabian therefore sea it tends to have a fair climate due to marine affects. The normal rainfall of the city is around 7 inches per annum.
