CYCLONE OCKHI TRACK AND OBSERVATION
The death toll due to cyclone Ockhi has risen to 13 as heavy rains as per Indian Media reports, cyclone OCKHI has now intensified into a Cat – 2 cyclone as the wind speed has been exceeding 105 km/h. It is currently present far away off southwestern Indian Coast where Sea Surface Temperature (SST) is around 29 °C. Due to favorable conditions around southern Arabian Sea, the cyclone is likely to move some upward with Northwest-West-Northwest direction.

Its intensity may turn into VERY SEVERE CYCLONIC STORM within next 36 – 48 hours! Track models are predicting its direction between Gujarat and Mumbai Coast, also with landfall around there and so far as per PakWeather.com, it is also expected to make landfall between there as a cyclonic storm.
WHAT ABOUT PAKISTAN & OMAN?
Pakistan and Oman Coast will possibly have no effect as the vertical wind shear over there is expected to be high in upcoming days. However, Kutch Coast and some extreme parts of Southeastern Sindh may see some passing clouds during next 2 – 3 Days alongside some light Rainfall on 5th Dec mainly!
