Eid-ul-fitr is just around the corner of next 72-96 hours so is our special Eid weather update too.

This Year 40% of Pakistan is expected to witness yet another wet Eid-ul-Fitr, After 30 days of Sacrifice, Worshiping and Hunger for the name of God, Muslims of Pakistan are expected to break their continuous 30 day period of fasting on Saturday 16th June 2018.

As a Holy Gift from God, Rain blessings are expected to be poured over Northern half of Pakistan from 1st Day of Eid that is expected to be on Saturday 16th June 2018.

Under the influence of weak Westerly Wave and great influence of Arabian sea moisture due to Somalian Push, Very strong Thunderstorm formations with isolated severe weather conditions are expected to take place over Northern Punjab and adjoining Kashmir region while weak-Moderate Thunderstorm formations over Central Punjab and Kpk.

1ST AND 2ND DAY OF EID (SATURDAY-SUNDAY):

PUNJAB AND KASHMIR:

Strong Thunderstorm is expected to form over Northern Punjab and adjoining Kashmir region, IF it expands further then under it’s influence Heavy rain with strong Gusty winds and isolated hail will occur in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and nearby areas otherwise, Light-moderate rain likely from it’s outer bands

Heavy to isolated very heavy rain with Gusty winds are expected in Jhelum, Mandibahauddin, Kharian, Gujrat and nearby areas.

Weak to moderate thunderstorm formations are also expected over over Central Punjab and Suleman ranges.

KPK, FATA AND BALOCHISTAN:

Thunderstorm some heavy are also expected to form over most parts of this region, heavy rain/thunder-lightning with winds are expected in Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Mardan and Nearby Areas.

Weak Thunderstorm formations are also expected over Northeastern Balochistan.

SINDH AND KARACHI:

Hot and Dry weather is expected in all parts of Sindh while few chances of weak thunderclouds development exist in Eastern Sindh and over kirthar ranges.

Rather mild weather is expected in Karachi and in Coastal Belt of Sindh, Skies are expected to be covered with Sea clouds with occasional drizzle/light rain during early morning or late night hours.

3RD AND 4TH DAY OF EID (MONDAY-TUESDAY):

PUNJAB:

A strong to very Strong Thunderstorm formations are expected to take place over Northern Punjab, under it’s influence Heavy rain with Gusty winds and isolated hail is expected in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Khushab and nearby areas.

Thunderstorm formations are also expected over central, Western and Southeastern Punjab and over Suleman ranges.

Light rain/thunderstorm is expected in Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan, Faisalabad, DG khan and nearby areas.

KPK, FATA AND BALOCHISTAN:

Strong thunderstorm developments with isolated severe weather is expected over parts of Fata and Kpk, under their influence, heavy rain with winds are expected in Peshawar, Bannu, Kohat, Mardan, DI khan, Lakki marwat and nearby areas.

Thunderstorm formations may also take place over Northeastern Balochistan.

SINDH AND KARACHI:

Dry and hot weather is expected in most parts of the province, few chances of weak thunderclouds development over kirthar ranges and over Northern Sindh.

KARACHI is expected to remain cloudy on 3rd and 4th day of Eid with good sea breeze and occasional drizzle/Light rain showers especially during late night or early morning hours.
