#MONSOON2019

PRE-MONSOONAL THUNDER DEVELOPS OVER EAST INDIA / BANGLADESH, THE INTER-TROPICAL CONVERGENCE ZONE IS SHIFTING NORTHWARD.

The south-west Monsoon has onset over Andaman Island and deltas of Myanmar, with positive week error of 7 days. The sluggish Monsoon is likely to onset in Srilanka by first week of June and further more by 6th/7th June over Kerala (South India).

Till then the convergence zone will be shifted more northward, igniting the chances for Bay-of-Bengal (BOB) and Arabian Sea (ARB) [off the Somalian Coast] to pop-up tropical activity by late first decade of June onto the beginning of third decade of June (8th June – 22nd June) more likely. This would also swift the advancement of Monsoon into the region.

The Monsoon is expected to be nearly normal overall in Sub-continent with alternating weak or neutral EL-NINO conditions and positive +IOD, indicating normal to slightly above normal rains in parts of Pakistan.

Karachi in comparison with other coasts is expected to bare hot and dry (mainly muggy) weather with no proper sea cloud or drizzling activity even till after the mid of June, 2019.
