Like everytime Pakweather.com continues its legacy and is issuing a detailed weather outlook for the Holy month of Ramazan. Ramazan this year is expected to fly by with hot weather and scattered rainy spells.
FIRST ASHRA: (7th-16th May)
Good Rains are expected at scattered places of the country including all provinces, temperatures may remain seasonal while Heatwave in plains of Sindh. Karachi is expected to see pleasant breeze from sea. Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad & Gilgit may see Rains between 7th & 16th May. There are also chances of Severe Weather conditions in few areas of the country due to the interaction of Warm front and cold front. A strong Trough may also affect which will have potential for strong or severe Thunderstorms in few areas of the country.
Temperatures may remain below normal in northern & western areas of the country while normal to slightly below normal in coastal areas whereas near normal in rest of the country during 1st Ashra
SECOND ASHRA: (17-26th May)
Rains are possible in few areas of the country & there is also increasing threat of heatwaves in Southern Pakistan as STJ may move northwards. Coastal areas may or may not see Heatwave however plains of central & Southern Pakistan are likely to see hot Weather but that doesn’t mean there is no chance of Rainfall. Chances of Rain are better in Islamabad, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad & Gilgit while less chances in Lahore & Quetta. Karachi may or may not see Heatwave but greater chances of pleasant sea breeze. There is also increasing threat of tropical activity in Arabian sea which can increase the chances of Heatwave in Southern Pakistan.
Temperatures may remain near normal in northern, Central & western areas of the country while normal in coastal areas depending on Heatwave whereas normal to slightly above normal in rest of the country.
THIRD ASHRA: (27th May-4th June)
Less chances of Rain in the country as STJ may move more northwards. More threat of tropical activity in Arabian sea therefore more chances of Hot Weather in the country. But we expect at least one Rainy spell in the country but mainly for the northern areas of the country. Better chances of Rain in Islamabad, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad & Gilgit while less chances in Lahore & Quetta. Karachi may see Sea Cloud activities but Heatwave can’t be ruled out due to expected tropical activity. Hot Grasslands of Pakistan like Larkana, Jacobabad, Sukkur & Sibi may see blazing temperatures of 45-50C or more, depending on the strength of Heatwave.
Temperatures may remain near normal in northern & Coastal areas of the country while normal to above normal in rest of the country. There is also threat of Cyclogenesis in Arabian sea in 2nd or 3rd Ashra.
